What's new in recent Detox updates?
To get the latest features, update Detox from the App Store: open the App Store, tap your profile icon, and tap Update next to Detox. The list below is the headline change in each recent release, newest first. If a feature you are reading about does not appear in your app, check your version here and update.
This page lists recent app updates. It is not the same as the release notes shown on the App Store listing, which Apple controls, and it does not cover every small fix.
If you want how a feature works rather than when it shipped, open that feature's own article (for example, What are App Groups?).
Recent updates
- Recreate your Auto Block. After deleting your Auto Block, you can now set up a new one. Earlier versions showed a coming soon message when you tried to recreate it; updating Detox to the latest version from the App Store restores it, and it works normally afterward. See What is Auto Block?.
- Notification controls. Detox now sends a reminder to reopen the app if your blocks have stopped updating in the background, and you can opt into occasional feature updates and tips. Both are controlled in Settings → Other settings → Application. See What notifications does Detox send, and how do I control them?.
- More reliable App Groups. Block reliability improvements for users with multiple App Groups.
- App Groups. You can now save more than one set of apps and websites, and point each Scheduled Block (or Block Now) at a different set, instead of every block sharing one list. See What are App Groups?.
